Getting Started with DirectDVD Playback

DirectDVD is packaged in a single installation that takes about 3 minutes to install on your Windows XP/Vista/Windows7 PC.  A single package that contains all the needed audio/video codecs for Surround/2 Channel playback. 

You simply download DirectDVD from our server and run the installation - below we will show you the install process on your machine.  Keep in mind that Orion Studios offers a 7 day trial of DirectDVD and all the Audio Features.  Racks and Components are all included in that delivered package.

Nothing more is required to get DirectDVD Playback on your PC, just the simple download package. 

STEP 1 - Download the DirectDVD Installer

In this first step, we will download the DirectDVD installer from the Orion Studios Development Center- The latest edition will always be the one available on the site, so we can be insured that drivers and codecs are up to date!

Free Registration with Orion Studios is required so you may have to return to this page to finish the instructions on the install process.

STEP 2 - Locate the DirectDVD Setup file

The Video we see below, demonstrates the download process and simple click to run feature in DirectDVD Setup packages- just double click the file and run the setup-
